Let’s work together to continue Ferndale’s progress forward and focused on addressing our most pressing local and regional challenges. I’ve helped the city stay on course of transformation even during tough times, making strategic investments to make life here better for our residents and businesses.

As a local government and urban planning professional, I help cities like Ferndale work better. On behalf of the community I applied my professional expertise and experience to get things done, and my performance and results prove me an effective leader.  Moving forward, we have more work to do.  I ask for your support to continue my work for another term.

Priorities

Stable Government Finances

A balanced budget and a strategic plan are key elements of a sound fiscal policy.  While we’ve returned to a strong financial footing, we need to keep focused on the best, most efficient use of citizens’ tax dollars.

Housing Options for All Income Levels

We’ve done a lot to make Ferndale an exciting place to work, play, and live.  That’s driven high demand for housing in our community.  We need to make sure those that live here can stay, and that those that want to move here have a range of options available.

A Safe & Healthy Community

Health and safety go hand in hand in Ferndale.  We have invested in our parks and infrastructure to give people safe options for being active, and our police force is leveraging new tools to keep our community safe.  I want to keep improving these areas I view as essential to building stronger, connected neighborhoods.

Growing Entrepreneurs & Small Business

Ferndale is a unique place where creativity in life and business play off each other.  I’ve worked to help build bridges between business owners and local resources and will work hard to continue to do so.

Connecting to Communities

Ferndale has always seen the big picture–we’re a small community that contributes to the overall regional prosperity in Metro Detroit.  I will continue to focus my leadership to build bridges to and with adjacent communities.
